Fundwork relies on community reporting as a core part of its trust model. If you encounter a user, opportunity, or piece of content that appears to violate Fundwork’s policies — including fraud, harassment, prohibited content, or off-platform payment solicitation — you can report it so the team can review it.

How Reporting Works

Fundwork is currently in alpha. The full reporting feature and detailed process documentation are actively being developed.
The in-app reporting feature and complete reporting process details will be published before public launch. During alpha, if you encounter something that feels wrong or harmful, reach out directly to the Fundwork team via support.

What to Report

Use reporting to flag behaviour that harms other users or undermines the integrity of the marketplace. Common scenarios that warrant a report include:

Fraudulent opportunities

Opportunities that appear designed to extract work, personal information, or credentials without legitimate intent to pay.

Identity misrepresentation

Profiles that appear to misrepresent the user’s identity, credentials, or prior work history.

Harassment or abuse

Messages or public content that harass, threaten, or abuse other users on the platform.

Off-platform payment solicitation

Requests to move payments or work outside of Fundwork in order to avoid platform fees or oversight.

How to Get Help During Alpha

If you encounter something problematic and the in-app reporting tool is not yet available, contact Fundwork support directly. Provide as much context as you can, including:
  • The .base.eth name of the user or the title/link of the opportunity you’re reporting
  • A brief description of what you observed and why you believe it violates Fundwork’s policies
  • Any relevant screenshots or message excerpts
The more specific and factual your report, the faster the team can assess the situation. Stick to what you directly observed rather than speculation.

What Happens After You Report

Detailed information about how reports are reviewed, escalated, and resolved — including timelines and outcomes — will be published before public launch.
Fundwork is committed to keeping the marketplace safe and trustworthy for every participant. Every report you submit contributes to that goal, even during alpha.
