When a client approves work and the USDC payment settles on Base, Fundwork automatically generates a completion receipt for both parties. This receipt is your on-chain proof that the work was paid — verifiable by anyone with the transaction hash.

What Your Completion Receipt Shows

Every completion receipt includes the following details:

How to Verify the Transaction

The transaction hash on your receipt is a direct link to the on-chain record of your payment. Use it to verify the transfer independently:
1

Copy the transaction hash from your receipt

Open your completion receipt in Fundwork and copy the full transaction hash (e.g. 0x9a4c…e71b).
2

Open a Base block explorer

Go to a Base-compatible block explorer such as BaseScan.
3

Search for the transaction

Paste the transaction hash into the search bar and press enter. You’ll see the confirmed USDC transfer, the sender and recipient addresses, the amount, and the block timestamp.

Who Can View the Receipt

Talent

Access your completion receipts from your Fundwork dashboard under your payment or work history. Each receipt corresponds to an approved and paid piece of work.

Client

Access completion receipts from your project or payment history. Your receipt confirms the payment was delivered and links to the same on-chain transaction.
Save your transaction hash for your own records. Because all payments settle on Base, the on-chain record is permanent and does not depend on Fundwork’s platform to remain verifiable.
