# Organization Verification on Fundwork | Build Credibility

Fundwork offers a verification badge for organizations that want to signal credibility to the talent browsing the platform. A verified badge on your organization's profile tells contributors that your team is legitimate, active, and trustworthy — helping you attract higher-quality applicants to your contracts, bounties, and campaigns.

## What Verification Means

Verification is a signal — not a guarantee — that Fundwork has reviewed your organization and confirmed it meets a set of credibility criteria. A verified organization stands out on Fundwork with a visible badge on its profile and on every opportunity it posts.

## How to Apply for Verification

    Before applying, make sure your organization profile is fully filled out — including your org name, `.base.eth` identity, and a clear description of your team and the work you post. A complete profile strengthens your application.

    Go to your organization's settings on Fundwork and locate the **Verification** section.

    Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your verification application. The Fundwork team will review your organization against the verification criteria.

    The Fundwork team will review your application and follow up with the outcome. If approved, your verification badge will appear on your profile and all future opportunity postings.

  Verification is currently limited to the alpha period. Not all organizations that apply will be verified during alpha — priority may be given to established Web3 teams and companies already active on Fundwork.

## Maintaining Verification

Verification is not permanent. Fundwork may review verified organizations periodically to ensure they continue to meet credibility standards. Organizations found to be in violation of Fundwork's policies may have their verification badge removed.
