# Exploring Opportunities on Fundwork — Find Paid Work

> Browse contracts, bounties, and campaigns on the Fundwork explore page. Filter by type and category, sort by date or reward amount.

The Fundwork explore page at [fundwork.app/explore](https://fundwork.app/explore) is where every paid opportunity lives. Clients post contracts, bounties, and campaigns here, and talent browses, filters, and applies. Learning to navigate the explore page efficiently means you spend less time scrolling and more time working on opportunities that are a genuine fit.

## Navigating the Explore Page

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the explore page">
    Go to [https://fundwork.app/explore](https://fundwork.app/explore). You'll see a feed of all currently active opportunities posted by clients across the platform.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Filter by opportunity type">
    At the top of the explore page, use the type filter tabs to narrow results:

    * **All** — shows every active opportunity regardless of type.
    * **Contracts** — shows only contract engagements where a client selects one worker before work begins.
    * **Bounties** — shows open submission opportunities where the client picks winner(s) from all entries received.

    <Info>
      Campaigns may also appear in the feed. Use the **All** tab to make sure you're seeing every opportunity type available.
    </Info>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Filter by category">
    Use the category filter to focus on your area of expertise. Available categories include:

    * **Design**
    * **Development**
    * **Video**
    * **Research**
    * **Marketing**
    * **Writing**
    * **Product Testing**
    * And more, depending on what clients post

    Selecting a category hides opportunities outside that domain, making it much faster to find relevant work.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sort the results">
    Reorder the opportunity feed using the sort control:

    * **Newest** — see the most recently posted opportunities first. Useful for catching new postings before they fill up.
    * **Highest amount** — surface the highest-paying opportunities first. Useful when you want to prioritize earning potential.
    * **Ending soon** — sort by deadline, closest first. Use this when you want to act quickly on opportunities about to close.

    <Tip>
      Check **Ending soon** regularly — some of the best-paying opportunities attract fewer applicants simply because talent misses the deadline. Getting your submission in early is always an advantage.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the opportunity cards">
    Each opportunity in the feed is displayed as a card. Scan the card to quickly assess whether an opportunity is worth clicking into:

    * **Type badge** — identifies whether it's a Contract, Bounty, or Campaign.
    * **Title** — the name of the opportunity as the client posted it.
    * **Budget in USDC** — the total payout or reward amount in USDC on Base.
    * **Category** — the skill domain the work falls under (e.g., Development, Design).
    * **Duration or deadline** — how long the engagement runs, or when submissions close.
    * **Applicant or submission count** — how many others have already applied or submitted, giving you a sense of competition.
    * **Posted by** — the client's `.base.eth` name, so you can see who is hiring and look up their track record.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click through to the full opportunity">
    Select any card to open the full opportunity detail page. There you'll find the complete brief, any attached requirements or assets, and the apply or submit button to take action.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Tips for Finding the Right Opportunities

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Combine type and category filters">
    The type and category filters work together. For example, setting type to **Bounties** and category to **Design** shows only design bounties — a much tighter list than browsing everything at once.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Check the applicant count before applying">
    A low applicant count on a well-paying opportunity is a signal worth acting on quickly. High counts aren't a reason to skip — but they do mean your submission needs to stand out.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Look at who posted the opportunity">
    The client's `.base.eth` name is visible on every card. Clicking through to their profile lets you learn more about who you'd be working with before you invest time in an application.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Use 'Newest' after time away">
    If you haven't checked Fundwork in a day or two, switch to **Newest** first to catch opportunities that were posted since your last visit before they fill up or close.
